Wii Points Work?

I've heard from a few contacts in the woodwork that the points are interchanable between the dsi and the wii. Is this true? Like buying 2 lots of points, 1 for each machine and then not having enough to buy anything else unless you buy more points, therefore you can just add the points to one device or the other and then have enough for 3 products.

I think this would be wonderful. Have any of you guys heard about this?

Hmm interesting I think if something like that is possible then we can easily shift the points from the older machine into the newer once I think it would be really great...but I am not sure whether something like tht is available lets see anyone else knows about it ...we are waiting guys

Yes, this is true. Their name will be changed to Nintendo Points and you can use them on eiher system.
