RE: Flash Player
There has been a lot of talk and questions about this actually. As of now there is not a way to play flash video straight from the web. One could probably download the flv videos and convert them to a suitable codec, whatever the DSi supports. I would like to bring up that the original xbox, which with T3CH's XBMC 2009, allows for streaming of youtube over the internet. The original xbox has only 64 mb of ram but boasts a 733 Mhz Intel Pentium 3, which means it is x86 architecture, which is well known and supported. The DSi only has 16 MB or ram and 2 ARM processors, which means it will be a challenge. With that being said, I think it is "POSSIBLE and Probable" that Adobe will release a flash player capable of at least playing flv videos for the DSi. There are other solutions, like a website that converts and archives Youtube videos into some suitable format, this would have to be a Google Solution obviously. Another Solution may be to host a website on your PC, assuming you have one, that once information is POSTED to it, can download the youtube video and convert it using the power and speed of the PC, then sending the compatible video to the DSi. I am currently making a website that will speed up the DSi internet experience entirely and will hopefully also save battery life, maybe if we work together we can make something with the flv's. I am willing to experiment with out breaking any Nintendo/Adobe/Opera Rules... I know an assortment of scripting and programming languages plus a great understanding of networking and protocols.
